OvOn™ Bidirectional Live-Loading Disc Springs
Model
Internationally patented live-loading disc spring that works both ways: it can go downward to absorb a sudden pressure surge or temperature increase, and upward to compensate bolt relaxation, where conventional disc springs, stretching nuts and stretching bolts compensate upward only. Each spring is designed twice, with a first stage that reaches the standard bolt load required and a second stage that edges toward bolt yield strength. Made as 17-7PH for ordinary stainless steel or grade 4.6 bolts and H-13 for grade 8.8, A193-B7 or SAE 8 bolts, and both can be nickel plated against chloride-ion corrosion.
