AIGI's patented Cyclone single mechanical seal, whose geometry induces a flow that carries particles away from the faces and keeps them cool without a flush supply. Offered as the 318J for slurries and media carrying particles, and as the stationary-face 318T for water and oil media.
Cyclone 318J Self-Cleaning & Cooling Single Seal. Single mechanical seal whose patented Cyclone geometry induces a flow that carries abrasive particles back to the pump, keeping the faces clean and cool without a flush supply. Rated to 20 bar, 150 °C and 20 m/s, with tungsten carbide faces and 316L metal parts.
