Fishbone Gasket

Patented metal gasket with helical concentric bevelled ribs faced in flexible graphite, PTFE or mica, energised by the fluid pressure itself. The Stop-Step design prevents over-compression, so it will not unwind, crush or damage flanges, and it passes the API 6FB fire test with substantially lower fugitive emissions than the spiral wound and camprofile gaskets it replaces.
